Me and cody were talking about the deffence line the other day and it was sounding broken with a vidicare assassin motf or a tech marine and the aegis line.

One I just discovered:
In 5th ed, Monstrous Creatures did not get cover for being in area terrain. Now they do! Something designated as area terrain gives cover saves on that entire base. So, you put a monster in a crater and it gets a save. Weird. Not that it matters as their invul save is as good, but you can hide monsters in cities for a 4+ cover. Big boost for Nid monsters though.

Is it the same for vehicles Walls? Or are they still TLOS in terraign?

Vehicles need the normal 25% regardless of where they are.

Gotcha, strange than that MCs are cover, some of those Nids are bigger than tanks lol

Trygon's are like as tall as/ bigger than most terrain pieces lol.

I have just came across a rule that i didn't know about. If a flyer suffers an immobilized result it continues moving at the speed it moved in the movement phase in each following movement phase and cannot evade or move in the shooting phase.

where exactly in the rulebook does it say flamers do d3 hits on overwatch i have been looking haven't been able to find it

It's in a weird place. I think the rule is called wall of death or something like that. Check the assault rules.
