Characters that roll a 6 to hit in combat or shooting get to allocate the hit to whatever model they want

Which brings all sorts of weirdness up. The following can all be units of characters: Royal Court as one unit, Wolf Guard, Chaos Terminator Champions, Nobs... so if you have a whole unit of these can they all act as a character? Or is it only when they lead a unit? If so, then it becomes a huge pain having to allocate all my nob attacks, lol.

So when you disembark from a vehicle...
You out your guy in b2b with the access port (or in the case of open topped, anywhere against the vehicle). You then can move 6" but you have to be wholly within the 6". Small change but somewhat important.

To start with, the "Precision Hits" rule is a really bad idea. But, it only applies to squad leaders. I know the BRB listed Nobs as (ch) but that was only in refence to Nobs leading units.
I do not believe anybody would want to face a Crisis Suit Bodyguard team with it's Commander if all Shas'vre were (ch). especialy if that commander was O'Shovah. There would be 7 Shas'vre plus O'Shavah Rapid firing Plasma into your command unit. If they could all allocate hits.......

The problem with the nob thin is it doesn't say anywhere that it is for squad leaders only. Hell it actually lists Ard Boyz mob separate but doesn't have slugga or shoota boy Nob separate.

Jink IS a cover save, therefore you do NOT get it against flame template weapons.

Characters CANNOT accept challenges if they are not in B2B or within 2 inches of a model that is in Close combat.

Also if your character refuses a challenge his leadership CANNOT be used for the remainder of the phase

Chariots can charge into combat and you attack the character not the chariot, however as they are a vehicle and cannot be locked in combat if you assault it you attack the vehicle not the character(at least that's what I'm hearing online).

No matter who charged, The rider of the chariot is always counted as being in base contact with all of the models in contact with the chariot therefore may be struck and strike in any case, So when you charge a chariot or charged by one you fight the character only and always. So you character might get wrecked since pretty much every model in the unit it charges gets to hit the character, you cant challenge or accept challenges on a chariot either.

See and that's the way I've been playing it but since it says " since a chariot is still a vehicle it can not be locked in combat" everyone on the necron forum I visit says you assault the chariot unless it assaults you! I have a feeling they will fix that entry in the errata!

Its just you can assault or be assaulted but your not locked in, think of it kind of as a hit and run that happens in the next movement phase for either side of the assault (chariot or other side)

If you are in a combaT with the character you cannot leave combat, sure of that. I just can't see you being able to leave combat when it's the rider in the combat itself. He'd count as being in b2b with the unit. Therefore he couldn't leave without the express hit and run rule or a rule saying he is allowed, despite the vehicle rules.
At least it's only one unit in the game right now.
