March 18th - 19th.
2 games on the evening of the 18th and 3 games during the day on the 19th.
For this go around, we will have yet another comp system. This time playtesting a system for some friends from the USA. The following will be provided to you on paper from Showcase Comics when you sign up/pay. Feel free to ask any questions to me, post them here or on the FB event page.
Restrictions: Only battle-forged armies. Only 1 Lord of War. This includes Knights.
All 40k publications prior to March 1st will be legal in this tournament. We will not be using Death from the Skies. This tournament has 3 categories. All of these will be awarded individually, but will also be counted EQUALLY toward overall score.
Battle Score: Points earned in each mission.
Paint Score: Points awarded based on the Painting Rubric
Design Score: Points awarded based on the List Design Rubric
Pairings will be determined for round 1 using the Design Score from the pre-submitted lists. A +/-1 modifier will be applied to try to avoid people who are in the same club, but in subsequent rounds players will be paired with battle score first, with Design Score as the tiebreaker.
Awards for the event will be as follows
The Artisan: Best Painted (highest rubric score, votes in event of tie)
The Codicier: Best Design score (highest design score, highest battle points will break ties)
The Warmaster: Best Battle score (highest battle score, highest design score will break ties)
The Sigilite: Best combined score from battle, paint, and design
