My concern is that the one you have there is 35mm and we have 28mm so not in the same scale so may look way off.

Even though GW models are listed as 28mm scale, it is a heroic scale so they are more like 32mm. Only way to really tell is if you can get someone who has bought a model from the same company to do a scale pic with models from a bunch of different ranges.

In the past I've found that 30-35 mm models fit well enough because GW upsizes things like hands and feet, so the proportions of a 28 mm model from another company actually looks more out of place in a warhammer army than a model with 35 mm limbs.
Not to mention this will be proxying a special character HQ choice, so a slightly larger model seems fitting to me.

I have a Uriah Jacobus model you can have if you want. Free. Thanks but my Gandy is on his way, and the reason I ordered him in the first place is that I'm not a fan of the GW Uriah model. Appreciate the offer though.

Update: as of March 20 I have my Gandy/Uriah model converted and painted. Once it is inked and if I like the results I will post a pic.
