Some cool stuff as I read through
LOS are now allocated to the closest model to the character. As us smart guys thought, units of characters aren't happening anymore: nobz, paladins, etc. Aegis Defence Lines have to be touching constantly as we were originally doing, not spread out over the field.
Feel No Pain and Eternal Warrior don't stack, weirdly enough, so instance death weapons still kill them.
Flying MCs that get shot down are now gliding, not zooming, which makes sense.
You cannot overwatch with psychic powers.
Flying monsters can skyfire. Expect every daemon army ever to have 2 Lord of Changes and 3 tzeentch DPs
Fenrisian Wolves attached to characters cannot have wounds allocated to them in a challenge
Chooser of the Slain does not modify snap shots.
Even if a unit moves from a deffrolla attack, it still takes damage!
More to come and please feel free to pitch in things you notice so we all know them.

I see there were a few notable changes for Eldar with the FAQ's. They modified the Howling Banshees so that they all have power swords now so all of those people who busted off their power swords in favor of axes are screwed.
They also nerfed the Shadowseer to have just the Stealth and Shrouded rules and no longer get the other power.
Also cannot cast Fortune and Guide on Dark Eldar units so no more super Seer Councill with a DE Archon leading it and getting to reroll the 2+ invulnerable save.
Finally Dark Eldar just became the go to race to kill terminators. They made Incubi weapons all AP 2 along with Huskblades.

THey just clarified that warding stave 2+ invul can be taken from attacks in close combat other than melee, such as if the purifying flame was used against the warding stave model

Bolster now only works on 'Ruins' in your deployment zone, tightening up this rule even more. Also they've worded the Relic Blade to be AP3.
Commisars only kill Gaurd now.
Still nothing on ML flak rounds.....boo....

Flack will be a white dwarf or new book update! IMO

It'll be a book by book thing. Dark Angels are rumored to be getting it, but you have to pay 5 points to upgrade to Flakk, and it REPLACES Frag and Krak.

see i disagree with that. I personaly think that all missile launchers have flack rounds now. here's why
They put that apendix at the back of the book. which lists EVERY weapon in the game right now. giving them new rules and other features to bring it into line with the new edition. That in itself is an FAQ right there. if you have a Power Sword, it's now ap3, no change to dmg. Doesn't say that in the book.
It's the same as from fantasy when they had the Apendix in the back which updated every unit with it's unit type. If your ignoring this Apendix which says missle launchers now have flack rounds then in fantasy your Trolls are not monsterus infantry. Your Doom Wheel isn't an Other.
The point of these apendix is to update all the weapons across all the books to the current eddition. yes "codex trumps rule book" but FAQ trumps book. And what's the difference between this apendix and a FAQ?

They've been really clear about this. Flak will only be available as a separate upgrade. Your argument defeats your own argument anyways. Codex trumps rulebook; so show me where, in ANY codex it says you have flak missiles. Quoted directly from the rulebook "all missile launchers come with frag and krak missiles as standard, and SOME have the OPTION to UPGRADE to include flaky missiles". I obviously bolded a few things in there, for obviously reasons. No codex in print right now shows this option, nor is it included in any FAQ. Therefore it currently does not exist. Period. End of story. There is no argument to be had here, other than the strawman argument of "well it doesn't say that I can't". You might as well argue 'my Eldar guardians can take bolt guns now. It doesn't say anywhere that I can't take them', or my regular tactical marines can take sternguard special ammo, because it doesn't say that I can't.
Dark angels will be the first book to get flakk missiles. Until then NO ONE gets them. I guarantee that if you try to pull that rules-lawyer crap, you're not going to make any friends, and very likely get a shot to the beets.

Yeah, Marc, you're completely wrong on this one. Or else if we go by your logic, Grey Knights can only take chimeras, Dark Angels and Space Wolves don't get any vehicles and normal marines can take Storm Ravens. It's in the Appendix after all.

Also, this is the same Appendix that made Paladin units, Nob units and Wolf Guard units units full of characters. Those were addressed in FAQs, but the FAQs didn't hand out Flakk. The Appendix is TERRIBLE and should be used for what an appendix is usually used for, a quick reference, not a definitive guide.
