So i've decided to over haul my army and i was waying the options between stripping the models all down or just priming over the paint? anyone have some out look on reprime? just wondering if its at all viable i know the absoult best would be to strip to bare plastic but in the intrest of a very tight bank account and a few days just cleaning models is there a way to simply do a new primer coat with out looking like trash.

strip then prime, you'll get much better results. Just priming over the models will result in the loss of much detail.
to strip them many people recommend simple green as its cheap, non toxic, and works pretty well. I personally wasn't happy with the results that simple green game me and I've stripped two entire armies to be repainted. I found that simple green just didn't get it all off and left many little bits to be picked off by needle, pin, knife, etc.
I've personally use Prestone synthetic break fluid to strip my models, you can visably see the paint bubbling off within hours, and come off in complete chunks, its also reusable a couple of times. And use only prestone, its the only i've found that works, it does no harm to the model or glue.
but not everyone likes break fluid. If you want good results and can spend a little more, go with break fluid. If you want decent results go with simple green.

I have some simple green and I know for a few models it took for ever for minimal results.
So im going to try a few models of just re-prime and a few in simple green and I'll write down your product and give it a try.
There is one more option but i REALLY don't think its that great unless i can get a great price... Sell everything and buy back in... if that were to happen army make up would change exponentially.

Don't re-prime. Just... don't.
Power clean from WalMart is actually better then Simple Green at stripping plastic. It's in a purple jug in the automotive section.

Yeah dont reprime cause then those models that you reprimed will be next near impossible to strip

SMURFS... but honestly i was thinking red yellow orange array or really SMURFS Cody showed me the Ultramarines movie and now i want to do some smurfs lol.
Or mostly white with red arms or like a blue green kinda combo or pink and black like bright neon pink and black with a few white and red accents but really i just need like a hundred of every model in the codex and then i can paint them all diff and use the ones i like for that day lol. I also kinda like silver and red with yellow or teal and dark blue and white... fuck lol see what i mean!

I also kinda want to do something crazy like ten diff colors each piece of the marine will be diff or like do each squad and each model like dreads and tanks diff but unify them with a single color that goes good with all the other colors on the shoulder pad or something like that idk
I would Honestly change the paint color monthly if it wouldnt cost a trillion dollars and kill everything i could ever want to do with my life lol... on the up side I would learn to paint really good lol

Before you even start Jacob why not use some of the online Space Marine Painters out there to hold down a scheme ya might want to do.
Really helps flesh out scheme ideas.

Exactly, take the time and look through websites for inspiration or ideas, find out what ya want to do and see if you can do it.
I personally use a limited palette because im comfrotable with only those few colors.
