Watermelon heads are saskatchewan rough riders and no one likes them they suck! But commenting on what ian said the wolves also sported leman russ battle tanks because they were named after the primarch and yet we can't use them anymore

I'll paint them green black blue red grey and silver. That way the count as everything and ill use all the codices.

The Space Wolves don't count in any argument because their only rule, is that they are the exception to it....
And honestly Paul is right, regardless of what we say, do what you want. If you want soul drinkers with 7 dreads, then do it!
We just like following fluff because then you get that guy who is using the Space Wolf codex, but saying they are blood Angels because he likes the color scheme but not their rules.

Agreed Cody, it was just enough of a small change that gave the book alot of flexibility.

i guess for me, it just personally doesn't make sense to me why a person would love the color scheme and fiction behind an army then choose to play the army in a completely different way than the fiction is based on because that to me then changes the essence of the army and it is no longer the one that you loved and would have been better off just creating a new one from scratch. But thats where I come from, and why I play armies to the letter when I do a fluff army.

Hey i like the story behind Soul drinkers but im going forward in the lexicanum it says the soul drinkers have like 4 members and there lost in the warp so really im just pushing the story in my own eyes.

The Space Wolves don't count in any argument because their only rule, is that they are the exception to it.... Hey now, the rule that dreads aren't made to fly, landraiders shouldn't deep strike are ones we haven't broken. Matt Ward did with another book I sometimes use..... But either way we just have exeptions to a healthy portion of the standard. Oh and FYI fuck the codex and its egomaniac author (Gilliman and or Ward)

Great job. I honestly want to do a soul drinker army. The duel with the inquisitor in the first book (i cant remember his name) is one of the best in the series. As for fluff, consider these survivors of the first chapter wars who actually managed to escape, or maybe the emperor of truth had a part to play.. As for Sarpedon, rulewise, would he count as infantry? I always imagined hes a upgraded psyker on a bike, spider legs and all
